Job overview

Hall School Wimbledon is a small, friendly, independent co-educational school situated in an attractive area of South-West London. We offer an innovative  all-round education, small class sizes and excellent pastoral care. We plan to open a Sixth Form in September 2020.

TEACHER OF GERMAN

This would be a permanent  position from September 2019 which could be full or part time.

All candidates should be capable of teaching German to GCSE. The successful candidate will need to be resourceful, flexible and independent and will have sole responsibility for the teaching of German GCSE as well as teaching German in Years 7 – 9. A willingness to contribute to the school’s extra-curricular programme as well as supporting the pastoral life of the school is essential.

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified, talented and enthusiastic graduate to join a dedicated  department committed to high achievement. The post is suitable for experienced teachers as well as those new to the profession.

Applicants should apply directly to the school by submitting a current curriculum vitae accompanied by an introductory letter and details of two referees (one of which should be a current or most recent employer). Applications should be sent to Mrs Sheila O’Sullivan at sos@hsw.co.uk. (There is no need to click ‘Apply now’ below, through the TES system).

Applications will be reviewed on a daily basis and interviews may occur at any stage after applications are received so we invite interested candidates to apply as soon as possible.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all staff to share this commitment. Employment at the school is subject to rigorous pre-employment checks.
