The Lyceum Alpinum Zuoz is an international boarding school with a history stretching back over 120 years, located near St. Moritz in the heart of the scenic Engadin valley (Switzerland). 220 boarders from around the world and 110 local day students study at our school for the Swiss Matura, the iGCSE, the International Baccalaureate Diploma (IBDP) and the International Baccalaureate Career-Related Programme (IBCP). The opportunity has arisen to appoint a colleague in the following role, starting August 2023:
Teacher of German
Workload: 80% - 100%
This post requires the successful candidate to teach German in the International Department. The appointee will be expected to teach IB German and Cambridge IGCSE German. Teaching within and supporting the development of our Pre-IGCSE programming, within our collaborative languages faculty, or working as a Homeroom teacher, may comprise part of the role.
Teachers within our programmes are additionally expected to support students within and beyond the classroom in such value-added roles as EE Supervision, and participation in our active extra-curricular life.
Requirements:
- University degree, teaching diploma
- IBDP teaching experience (essential)
- IGCSE teaching experience (preferred)
- EU/EFTA citizenship

The Lyceum Alpinum Zuoz, founded in 1904, is a Swiss international boarding school set in spectacular alpine landscape near St. Moritz. About three hundred students between 12 and 18 years of age from around the world and the Engadin valley follow programmes leading to the International Baccalaureate Diploma (English), the Swiss Matura (German, German/English or German/Italian) and the German Abitur.
