Teacher of Girls’ PE – Maternity Cover, 1 Term, September – December 2023, with the possibility of an extension into 2024.

We are looking to appoint a dynamic, enthusiastic and inspiring Teacher of Girls’ PE to join our hardworking, highly experienced and supportive PE Department.

This is a full time position covering the Autumn Term 2023 and equally suited to an ECT, or more experienced teacher. There is a possibility that the contract may be extended into the Spring Term, 2024.

The post provides an ideal opportunity for an individual, preferably with an interest in netball and/or hockey, gymnastics or dance. The school facilities include a purpose built Sports Hall, Gymnasium, Fitness Suite and large playing fields and courts.

Bungay High School is a co-educational secondary school with academy status in Bungay, Suffolk. It caters for children aged 11-18.

The school, originally Bungay Grammar School, became Bungay High School in 1974. A range of academic and vocational and academic qualifications are offered in its sixth form.
