An exciting opportunity exists to join one of the leading independent schools in West Yorkshire in February 2020.
Huddersfield Grammar School seeks a dynamic, highly motivated and enthusiastic PE specialist to work with our pupils, aged 3-16 years. The successful candidate will be dedicated to helping the PE Department develop its curricular offer whilst contributing to its wide-ranging extra-curricular provision.
The appointee will be required to lead core PE lessons, games afternoons and GCSE PE, and will ideally have experience of teaching GCSE PE through the AQA examining board. A particular interest in Netball would also be an advantage, as this is a significant strength of the sporting provision in school.
Huddersfield Grammar School is thriving and now ranks as a Sunday Times Top 100 Prep School. The school won the National Prize for Successful Change Management in the 2019 Independent Schools Awards and has enjoyed significant growth in recent years. Despite this, class sizes remain limited to a maximum of 20 pupils per class.
Salary will be dependent upon qualifications and experience.
To apply, please complete the Application Form in this advertisement and email it to Miss M Barber at Huddersfield Grammar School, at firstname.lastname@example.org.

Early applications are strongly encouraged, as the school reserves the right to make an early appointment.
Cognita Schools are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff, volunteers and other third parties to share this commitment.
