Job overview

We are looking to appoint an outstanding teacher of Physical Education to support the delivery of both practical and academic PE. The successful applicant will join a strong and experienced department with an excellent track record at GCSE PE, Cambridge Nationals  - Sports Studies level 2 and Cambridge Technicals - Sport and Physical Activity level 3.

Cramlington Learning Village was graded Good in all categories in its last Ofsted Inspection.

Based in Northumberland, Cramlington Learning Village is a mainstream secondary school for children aged between 11 and 18. It is non-denominational. The school has gained academy status. At the moment, there are around 2000 students being educated at the establishment situated in Cramlington. There are around 300 students between the age of 16 and 19 at the school.

They are increasingly skilled at targeting their teaching to ensure rapid and sustained progress for all pupils, including for those who are disadvantaged and the most able. Leaders use performance management effectively. They monitor the impact of teaching and the progress of pupils meticulously. They use the information they gather to help staff to further focus their teaching and support for pupils. Pupils are well behaved, aware of the needs of others and proud of their school. They are very keen to learn and improve. They feel safe.”
