We are looking for an inspirational teacher with the drive and determination to contribute to our great Health & Social Care Department, which is made up of three members of hardworking and dedicated staff. Health & Social Care is taught in the Sixth Form at Level 3 as an Extended Diploma and at KS4 as part of our option choices; both courses are extremely popular with students and our results are excellent.
Last year we offered A level Psychology for the first time and it is proving very popular, having large classes in years 12 and 13, The successful candidate will have the opportunity to take us to our first set of results in psychology and will be able to shape the future success of the subject. Psychology is taught in conjunction with a biology teacher. You will use your passion and vision to ensure that students studying Health & Social Care and Psychology receive a rich learning experience which will inspire our students and ensure that they achieve the highest standards.

Oaklands is a mixed, comprehensive, non-denominational secondary school with sixth form situated in East London. It is a community state school as well as a NSS (National Support School] that provides support to other schools. A smaller than average secondary school, it will provide 850 places for secondary and sixth form students between the ages of 11-18, when fully subscribed.
