The Humanities department is housed in the Achieve Village where all classrooms have an Interactive White Board and a desktop computer, enabling you to deliver engaging lessons. Outside of the classrooms, we have a computer suite that can also be utilised. Furthermore, you will benefit from a highly organised curriculum plan where all lessons are planned and stored on the Academy's online curriculum.
You will be stepping into a department of nine teachers with a range of skills and abilities, managed by the Head of Humanities and Leader of Health and Social Care. From the moment you join us you will feel welcomed and supported by an experienced and varied team, who are wholly focused on teaching and learning. As part of your induction into the Academy and the Humanities department, you will be well supported through a comprehensive programme of induction, training and coaching to ensure you continue to develop as a teacher.
If you are a talented professional with passion, commitment and resilience, and if you are driven to make a difference to the lives and futures of young people, we would like to hear from you. Please contact Wayne Mernagh, Head of Humanities, for more information on 01908 341700 or email us at email@example.com
