The City of Stoke on Trent Sixth Form College is a thriving, lively and successful Sixth Form College, committed to social inclusion. The College is located in an award-winning, state of the art building at the heart of the University Quarter of Stoke on Trent, adjacent to Stoke Railway Station, providing excellent travel links.  In September 2017, the College achieved academy status as part of the Potteries Educational Trust. The Trust is working collaboratively with educational institutions from across Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire and beyond, seeking to improve outcomes for all children and young people in the region. In October 2017, Ofsted Inspectors graded the College ‘Good’ with several excellent features and praised staff and students for creating a supportive learning community. Teacher of Health and Social Care 

(Full Time, Temporary, Maternity Cover)

The College is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and supportive teacher to join an outstanding department to cover maternity leave from April 2018. The successful applicant will be a team player and be required to teach vocational Health and Social Care courses at Levels 2 and 3. Vocational experience within a Health and Social Care setting would be advantageous but not essential. Since September 2017 the College has worked in partnership with Staffordshire University offering a degree foundation year in Health & Social Care which could be an exciting opportunity for a suitable candidate.

Salary will be paid according to the National Sixth Form College’s Salary Spine for Teachers (£22,937 – £38,364 per annum)
