Loreto Grammar School is an 11-18 Roman Catholic Grammar School for Girls with Academy status located in Altrincham, in the Borough of Trafford. It is a thriving, successful and over-subscribed school, judged as “Outstanding” by Ofsted and by the Diocese of Shrewsbury.
The Governing Body is seeking to appoint a part-time Teacher of History to join our successful History Department. The appointed applicant will be expected to teach History at all Key Stages including A Level. Candidates should be willing to commit to the ethos and values of the school. Applications are welcome from experienced as well as newly qualified teachers.

Loreto Grammar School is a selective Roman Catholic girls' secondary with sixth form, situated in Altrincham, Cheshire. It is supported by a single-academy trust, the Loreto Grammar School Trust, and is part of a network of 120 Loreto schools across the world, with strong links to international schools in countries such as India, Australia and Germany. It provides a total of 1,040 places for students aged 11-18.
The school was founded in 1909 by the Sisters of Loreto, and assumed academy status in August 2012.
