An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and inspiring Teacher of History and Politics, to teach up to A-level as part of our Senior School.  

The History department is interested in all pupils and the championing of the subject. We want History and Politics  to be interesting, thought-provoking and inspiring. Pupils are nurtured with an emphasis on the development of skills and a sense of progress and purpose.

Experience of teaching to examination level will be an advantage; however applications from outstanding NQTs are warmly invited.  A willingness to contribute to the school’s wide extra-curricular programme would also be welcomed.

St Edmund's is a co-educational day and boarding school with c.570 pupils from the ages of 3 to 18.  The Pre-Prep, Junior and Senior Schools share the same site and the school prides itself on its friendly, family environment where every pupil and staff member is known and valued.

Applications must include a completed Teaching Staff Application Form, full curriculum vitae and a concise covering letter outlining the candidates's suitability for the post.
