An outstanding teacher of History and Politics is required from September 2017. The History and Politics Department is remarkably successful, even by the School’s high academic standards. The School has a long-standing record of high academic achievement (94% of A Level entries gained A* to B grades in 2016) and there is also much happening in terms of extra-curricular activities. We expect all staff to be fully involved in School life. The post will involve teaching History from Y6 to Y13 and Politics to Y12 and Y13. The post would be suitable for an NQT (we provide statutory induction) or a colleague with more experience.
The School occupies fine, modern buildings near St. Paul’s Cathedral overlooking the Thames, opposite the Tate Modern.
Salary will be paid on the CLS scale (£32,790 -£57,330 pa 2016-2017)
