This is a fantastic opportunity to join a thriving, diverse, co-educational independent day school on the outskirts of Bristol. We are looking for a dynamic and highly capable Teacher of History, to join a popular and successful department, as well as contribute to the wider life of this busy holistic school community. This post is offered between 0.5 FTE to 0.8 FTE and is fixed term for one academic year, starting in the Autumn Term 2024.

The successful applicant will be an outstanding classroom practitioner and a great communicator, with an excellent knowledge of KS3, GCSE History, as well as being fully proficient in the delivery of the A level. The ability to teach another subject within our curriculum would be an advantage.

Welcome to Collegiate.

We are a thriving and happy co-educational day school for pupils aged 3 to 18, located just north of Bristol. At Collegiate we have approximately 800 pupils, with our Preparatory School accommodating pupils from Nursery to Year 6, and the Senior School accommodating students from Year 7 up to our Sixth Form. In 2019 Collegiate was rated as ‘Excellent in all areas’ in our ISI report.
