Parkside achieved the highest Progress 8 score in Derbyshire in 2017 and 2019. Since our last Ofsted inspection, the number of pupils attending the school has almost doubled and we expect to be oversubscribed in September 2022.

The ideal candidate will

• Have a strong academic background, with good A Levels or equivalent, and a good degree 

• Have, or be able to demonstrate appropriate career-stage progress in developing strong pedagogical content knowledge

• Share our values and have a desire to contribute to our collective purpose

Parkside Community School is a good school with sustained improvement over time. In 2022 the school achieved a progress 8 score of +0.61, following a score of +0.59 in 2019 when performance figures were last published. This makes Parkside the highest achieving school in Derbyshire for progress in three of the last four years in which performance figures have been published.
