We are looking for an outstanding teacher of history whose passion for the subject inspires others to join our highly successful and forward looking history team.   

You must be able to teach history at least up to and including G.C.S.E.  A Level teaching may also be available for a suitable candidate.    

As part of the school’s humanities specialism, history is a highly valued subject in our curriculum.  It is one of the most popular options at both KS4 and KS5 and boasts a proven track record of success.   79% G.C.S.E. students achieved grades 9-4 in 2019.  The department also successfully delivers A-levels in history and A level government and politics.  All history teachers have their own classrooms adjacent to each other which are equipped with projector, interactive whiteboard and internet access.
