We are seeking an innovative, well-qualified and enthusiastic historian to teach the subject with confidence and expertise up to A level, on a one year fixed term part time basis owing to a 12-month staff sabbatical. It is anticipated that the role will involve teaching approximately 0.6-0.8 of a full timetable, which is to be confirmed. 

The successful applicant will become part of a coherent team and therefore support for the many activities provided by the Department, including foreign visits. The opportunity to contribute towards Games teaching may also be available for an applicant who is suitably skilled.
