Teacher of A-Level History (Full Time)

We require for the next academic year, a well-qualified and enthusiastic teacher of History to work in this high achieving and popular department. The successful candidate will teach the History A-level syllabus. The College teaches the AQA examination board studying Tsarist and Communist Russia along with the Making of Modern Britain and the French Revolution for the NEA. The post would be suitable for experienced practitioners or a recently qualified teacher. The candidate should have a strong academic background and be willing to contribute to the wider life of the college.

St. Dominic's is the longest established centre for Catholic post-16 education in the Diocese of Westminster. The College provides a wide choice of GCE A, Applied A and AS courses. In addition, BTEC Level 3/ Extended Diploma (Edexcel)
All students are fully supported by Personal Tutors in preparation for employment or higher education. The College provides a Religious Education programme for all students. The Course is accredited by the National Open College Network and students are awarded a Level 1 in Year 12 and a Level 2 Year 13. The examination success rate is outstanding and the vast majority of students progress to higher education. A wide range of extra-curricular activities is available.
