We are currently enjoying an exciting new phase at the school and we are now seeking a History specialist who is interested in joining our team. We welcome applications from NQT’s and experienced teachers.

· Have you a passion to help young people make progress?

· Have you high aspirations for yourself which will help you to inspire and motivate our students to believe they can be what they want to be, helping them to increase their self-esteem?

· Can you engage students with a positive mind frame, empowering them to take on challenges and activities?

If so, why not become part of our new exciting future at Wellfield High School, in an executive partnership with Tarleton Academy, which is already providing opportunities for both our staff and students and transforming our school to make rapid progress.

We are a small community school in the centre of Leyland where staff, students and parents are known for our family ethos and nurturing environment. It is within this context that we strive to get the very best out of our students and ourselves, so that everyone thrives.

Candidates should ensure that they and their referees are easily contactable, with the correct phone number and email address and able to reply promptly if references are requested.

We encourage prospective candidates to contact the school for a tour prior to their final application, please contact head@whs.lancs.sch.uk or phone the school, 01772 421303 to arrange.
