Calderstones School has a rare and exciting opportunity to appoint a highly motivated, dynamic, innovative Teacher of History to join a thriving and very successful department of six full time teachers.  History is taught throughout the school; being a very popular GCSE and A Level choice, and we are proud to achieve very strong examination results in history.  This role is for 1 year to cover extended maternity leave.

The History Department value teamwork, commitment and a passion for Teaching and Learning.  We also value the ability to communicate enthusiasm for our subject to pupils and colleagues alike.  Our priority is to nurture every child within a secure learning environment, while promoting independent learning and challenging each pupil to achieve their full potential.
