The History department plays a pivotal role in shaping historical understanding and critical thinking. As a History Teacher at The Malling School, you will have the opportunity to:

• Teach History, impacting students up to and including Key Stage 5 (KS5).

The successful candidate will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with the ability to teach History to KS3 and GCSE levels (ability to teach beyond GCSE is preferable).

• Demonstrate innovation and reflectiveness in their teaching approach.

• Have a proven ability to achieve excellent historical understanding results for students.

• Be motivated by the desire to make a lasting impact on young lives.

• Bring enthusiasm and a values-driven approach to education.
