Teacher of History for September 2018 - MPS/UPS
“There is a culture of high expectations and this has had a very positive impact on students’ achievement.” Ofsted November 2014
The Warriner School is an oversubscribed, expanding school and as such we are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and talented teacher of History to join a highly successful department. The department has built up an excellent reputation both within the school and outside. Our GCSE History results have been consistently high over the last five years and our first set of A Level results was outstanding.
We would welcome applications from those keen to work with enthusiastic and well-motivated students. The department is experienced in the support and training of newly qualified teachers and recognises the importance of professional development. A specialism in Tudor history could prove useful as there may be an opportunity to teach this at A Level. The successful candidate will also be required to teach Geography at KS3.
A job description and application form is available from our website: www.thewarrinerschool.co.uk – Join us – Vacancies or Mrs Trish Morgan, PA to Headteacher at firstname.lastname@example.org
Please note we can only accept CVs as supporting documentation when submitted along with a fully completed school application form.
The Warriner School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and requires all staff and volunteers to share and demonstrate this commitment. The successful candidate will have to meet the requirements of the person specification and will be subject to pre-employment checks including an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.
