We are looking to appoint an outstanding teacher of History with a passion to work with, inspire and motivate young people.
We welcome applications from candidates who can teach across the Humanities disciplines at Key Stage 3 with the ability to teach History. Experience of teaching RE at Key Stage 4 would be an advantage. We welcome applications from both newly qualified and more experienced teachers.

About Tor Bridge High
Tor Bridge High is a secondary mainstream school for girls and boys aged between 11 and 18. It was converted to academy status in August 2011. It is a non-denominational establishment. Tor Bridge High is based in the town of Estover in Plymouth, Devon. The school is in partnership with Plymouth University. It is also in partnership with Plym Bridge Nursery School, Cann Bridge School and Plym Bridge Nursery School.

Tor Bridge High school’s motto is “stronger together, creating better futures”. In sixth form the school offers children the opportunity to study BTECs, A levels and OCR Nationals. The curriculum is balanced and prepares students for life in the modern world. Teachers aim to care for pupils in order to help them have personal development. Students are offered a wide range of opportunities at the academy. This includes the chance to gain a Baccalaureate in English.
