The Challenge Academy Trust (TCAT) is looking to appoint an inspiring and dynamic Teacher of History to be based at Priestley College. The post will require the successful candidate to teach predominantly AS History, on our early modern option (option A).
The successful candidate will be required to contribute to the creation of teaching resources, and expected to set and mark homework, including examination style questions, for the classes being taught.
In addition, the post includes time working with a broader range of history students in workshop time. This may include supporting students who are behind with work, or who need academic support to help them make progress.

Contractual Terms: NJC Terms and Conditions for Teaching Staff in Sixth Form Colleges
Working Arrangements: Part-Time 0.4 (2 half days, 1 full day) Temporary from January – to the end of the academic year 2020
Start Date: 6th January 2020 (subject to successful pre-employment checks including a DBS check or a check against the DBS Update Service if registered)
Salary: Main Grade Teaching Scale, up to £39,329 per annum
Pension Scheme: Teachers' Pension Scheme
