Job overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and motivated teacher of History and Geography to join a very successful faculty. You will be able to inspire pupils of all abilities within History and Geography to achieve their highest potential and be committed to delivering consistently outstanding lessons. You will be able to teach both subjects at KS3 and specialise in History at KS4. A TLR 2a will be available for a strong candidate who can demonstrate an ability to contribute to the strategic development of the History department by being responsible for the improvement of teaching and learning within the department. This, in the first instance, will involve writing and updating schemes of work, developing assessments and tracking pupil progress to ensure the department meets academic targets.
