Teacher of Humanities (History and Geography) (Main Pay Scale)
Required for September 2017:
We are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified teacher of Humanities to join a popular and successful curriculum area. You will be able to teach History to KS4 and some Geography to KS3. The opportunity exists to teach across the full age range including examination classes.
This is an ideal post for a newly qualified teacher where a recruitment package is available.
The school is a vibrant, inclusive 11-18 school (6 FE with a 6th Form of nearly 300) serving an ethnically diverse community committed to providing an outstanding, all-round education for every child.
GCSE Examinations results in general are well above the national average, particularly in Maths. We have improved rapidly in recent years and have been judged to be “Good” by Ofsted (October 2014). This is a very exciting time to join us in our drive towards “Outstanding” overall.
