Salary: MPS/UPS + London Fringe 

Hours: Part time (up to 0.5)

Responsible to: Head of Humanities

Contract: 1 year fixed term, with opportunity to extend

Required for September 2024 a well-qualified teacher of Humanities to teach across the age and ability range in a faculty that achieves excellent results and high standards. Candidates will be required to teach Humanities subjects (History and/or Geography and/or Religious Studies) with the timetable and Key Stages dependent on the successful candidate's qualifications, experience and skills. Humanities subjects are very popular at GCSE and A Level and many of our pupils go on to study them at university. We are therefore looking for an enthusiastic and imaginative individual to join a supportive and committed Faculty. The enrichment offered to pupils is extensive including local, national and international trips and visits as well as clubs and themed events in school. The friendly and collaborative work environment in the Humanities Faculty encourages continuous professional development and career progression for staff. We welcome applications from experienced staff and from ECTs and would be able to support ECT induction for the period of employment.
