The Priory Ruskin Academy is a mixed, mainstream secondary school located in Grantham, Lincolnshire. The school has a sixth form and educates students within the 11-19 age range. It offers a wide range of GCSE and OCR National programmes, as well as a variety of A-Level and BTEC subjects.

The Priory Ruskin Academy was established in 2010 out of a merger between Central Technology and Sports College and Grantham Church High School. It is part of the Priory Federation of Academies Trust.

The Priory Ruskin Academy has a clear goal to improve the life chances of students. It wants all pupils to appreciate the excitement of learning, as well as the rewards of personal challenge and the importance of helping others. Teachers strive to help students become true citizens of the world.

Within a nurturing and safe space, the school focuses on producing highly motivated students who perform at their best regardless of starting points or personal circumstance.

“The large majority of teaching is good and some is outstanding. This is having a positive impact on the attainment and progress of students, which is improving quickly. Students are proud of the academy. They are respectful to each other and their teachers. The behaviour of students is good and attitudes to learning are positive. The academy provides a rich programme of extra activities. This helps students to develop good social skills, and moral, spiritual and cultural understanding.”
