Brighton College Al Ain seeks to appoint an outstanding applicant as Teacher of History who will report to the Head of Humanities in the Senior School. S/he should be an adaptable and innovative teacher; a good motivator, communicator and administrator, and capable of thriving in an expanding and high- profile British-International school.
Applications are invited from outstanding teachers who hold a relevant degree in History, at least two years of teaching experience and a clear understanding of teaching history in Key Stages 3-5. Experience of teaching in Key Stage 2 would also be an advantage. We are looking for someone who blends creativity and rigour in the classroom for all learners, is highly committed and possesses excellent organisational and communication skills.
This is a unique opportunity to teach History up to Key Stage 5, with the possibility of some additional Key Stage 2-3 teaching in Humanities subjects as we look to strengthen our middle school and transition curriculum in the College.
