The Trent Academies Group is an emerging multi-academy trust, based in Nottingham. Our aim is to support schools and academies in providing outstanding education for their pupils. The Trust currently consists of Rushcliffe School, an outstanding school in West Bridgford and The Farnborough Academy, Clifton and the Arnold Hill Academy, Arnold.
In our Group we work together, share staff, join up expertise, build on each other’s strengths, pool resources and combine facilities, so that everybody, staff and pupils, gets the chance to shine and achieve their best.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Humanities teacher to join our outstanding humanities faculty. A specialism in RE will be an advantage, although all humanities specialisms will be considered for the right candidate. Applications are welcome from both NQTs and experienced teachers.
It is intended that the role would be based at Arnold Hill Academy but the diversity of academies within the Group will provide fantastic opportunities for teachers to develop their practice and skills.
Arnold Hill is a popular academy situated in a pleasant residential area. The Humanities Faculty is a growing and successful faculty which offers a range of academic courses across Key Stages 3 to 5. You will be joining a forward looking and dynamic team which is warm and friendly, but which has high expectations of everyone.
This is an exciting time to join Arnold Hill Academy as it prepares for a new £14 million state-of-the art school development (opening in September 2016)
