Inspired is seeking to appoint a Teacher of Humanities to join us on 2nd. April 2024 on a temporary, full-time basis, to cover a vacancy for one term.

The role would involve teaching Humanities ( Geography and History ) in Key Stage 3, with the possibility of Year 10 History for the right candidate.


The ability to offer a second subject would be an advantage.


The teacher appointed to the present full-time post will form part of a close and supportive department of five teachers.


This position will be responsible for the following:

 

·        Teaching a full-time timetable.

·        Planning and delivering a range of classes across Key Stages 3-5.

·        Commitment and interest in group planning.

·        Tutorial responsibilities.

·        Willingness to take part in educational trips and visits.

·        Adaptable teaching style incorporating feedback

·        A depth of understanding in the relevant subject area

·        Ability to judge learning effectiveness

·        Excellent preparation and planning

·        Assessment of student outcomes and feedback to enhance performance

·        Genuine care and attention for the highest standards of student welfare
