Ashmole Trust was formed in 2015 building upon the success of Ashmole Academy and its tradition of outstanding school performance. The trust currently consists of a primary and secondary school.

Ashmole Academy has a forward looking and innovative approach to all areas of school life and demand high standards of achievement. The school has an excellent reputation within the local community with strong support from Governors and Parents and a dedicated and highly motivated team of staff. We currently have approximately 1900 pupils with a growing and vibrant 6th Form of approximately 600. Our examination results are consistently outstanding and the Academy remains heavily oversubscribed every year.

Required for September 2023, an enthusiastic, committed and ambitious teacher of humanities (to include sociology) with qualified teacher status to teach all age and ability range to join a successful team. This post would be suitable for an early career teacher (ECT).  This post will be considered on a full time or part time basis.

The Humanities Faculty is extremely successful and vibrant, with a​ dedicated team of specialist staff teaching the subjects within it. These include: history, geography, religious studies across all year groups; business studies at KS4 and 5; and sociology, politics and economics at KS5. The subjects are extremely popular among students, with multiple classes at GCSE and A Level being taught in these subjects. There is a strong record of examination success. Sociology is an extremely popular and very successful A-level subject with over 110 students studying it currently at Ashmole.  It is established and a well-resourced subject that delivers strong outcomes for all students.
