Required for Maternity Cover from September 2017 (1 Year Fixed Term Contract)
We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic teacher of ICT specialising in Computer Science. We are expanding our already successful department to reflect the popularity of the subject and the development of the curriculum to reflect new Programmes of Study.
The Academy is looking for a teacher who is able to demonstrate:
· Qualified Teacher Status and degree status
· A strong track record as a good / outstanding teacher
· The ability to inspire high achievement and challenge our students
· Committed to raising attainment of all students
· Presence, dynamism and a good sense of humour
· The ability to guide students’ academic and personal development as a tutor.
· Post-16 experience of A-Level courses would be an advantage.
