The Governors wish to appoint a talented and inspirational teacher of iMedia and ICT. The ability to teach computer science to KS3 would be an advantage. We will also consider applications from teachers with expertise in Business Studies.


The successful candidate would be able to demonstrate strong teaching, planning and assessment skills with an ability to motivate, enthuse and challenge students to produce the highest quality of work. As well as having the ability to quickly form positive working relationship with the students and colleagues in order to provide consistency.


Applications from NQTs would be most welcome, as the school provides a very supportive induction programme. The successful candidate will have the chance to work alongside excellent teachers in a supportive and aspirational school where staff development is at the core of our ongoing success. 


A willingness to support the ethos of the school is essential.  There are many opportunities for professional development through contributing to extra-curricular activities and whole school initiatives.

Blessed Trinity RC College is a mixed, non-selective Roman Catholic secondary school, situated in Burnley, Lancashire. There are approximately 1,250 students at the college aged between 11-16.

Pupils are able to explore their Christian faith with optional Chapel drop ins during lunch.
