Responsibilities    

Opportunities exist for two experienced, creative and innovative teachers to join the Individual Needs and Learning Support Departments at King George V School to commence in August 2017. The Learning Support Centre is for students with challenges to learning such as Moderate Learning Difficulties, SpLD Autism and Down Syndrome. There are currently over 30 students in the Learning Support Centre. The Individual Needs team manages the learning of students in the mainstream with specific learning difficulties, attention issues and other similar needs.

Requirements

Suitable candidates should hold a qualification in the field of Special Education; those with SpLD and Assessor qualifications are highly encouraged to apply. Applicants should be solution focused, creative, flexible, and demonstrate a commitment to the students in their care.
