We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic teacher of information technology and computer science to join our successful, growing and vibrant IT department, with the ability and passion to teach up to and including A level computer science. In addition, being willing to develop and implement physical computing opportunities for students would be beneficial, (raspberry Pi, robotics, microbits etc)

The teaching of information technology and computer science is a strength
of the school. Students enjoy the subject and do well. The candidate should have the ability to deliver IT in Key Stage 3 and IT and computer science in Key Stage 4, and have the ambition to teach computer science in Key Stage 5.

Netherhall School is a grant maintained, Local Authority, mixed, non-selective, non-denominational secondary school with a sixth form, situated in Maryport, Cumbria. The school achieved its first ever rating of ‘Good’ from Ofsted in 2018, was named Cumbrian Secondary School of the Year later the same year, is host to the Cumbrian Secondary School Teacher of the Year and Cumbrian Secondary School Student of the Year.
