The opportunity
We are now looking to appoint an experienced and dynamic Islamic Studies teacher, to start in September 2021.
The post holder will be joining a friendly and supportive team and will contribute to the teaching of Islamic Studies. The Arabic department offers a wide range of extra-curricular activities as well as a vibrant enrichment and mentoring programme.
All our classrooms are equipped with interactive smartboards and displays, and all students are furnished with an iPad upon entry.
About you
Candidates should have a passion for the subject they teach and the ability to apply a range of teaching strategies that motivate and encourage children to want to learn. The ideal candidate will be able to deliver lessons that inspire children to succeed, have some knowledge of the UK National Curriculum, as well as a commitment to the pursuit of excellence in education standards. Candidates should be able to deliver lessons in both Arabic and English.
Applicants should be willing to contribute in a positive manner to all aspects of the school vision including co-curricular activities.
We are a British international school and all of our lessons are taught in English, therefore a high standard of written and spoken English is essential, along with a detailed knowledge of the UK National Curriculum.
This is a non-sponsored position and only candidates with family sponsorship currently residing in Qatar will be considered.
