Job overview
The Business and IT Faculty deliver A level and BTEC courses. We offer A levels in Business and Computing as well as BTEC Level 3 in Business, ICT and Travel. As a faculty, we have a team of 15 staff and deliver to over 800 students in college. We have a specialist ICT team delivering the following: BTEC L3 IT (extended certificate, diploma and extended diploma) as well as A Level Computing to over 150 students. We have a specialist Business and Travel team delivering the following: BTEC L3 Business (L3 extended certificate, diploma and extended diploma), BTEC L3 Travel (L3 extended certificate, diploma and extended diploma) as well as A Level Business to over 500 students. The specialist team consists of 15 staff who work collaboratively to ensure that students receive an enjoyable, challenging learning experience and realise their full potential.
This role will involve teaching a range of IT courses and units, requiring knowledge of the IT curriculum in some of the following areas; web design, cyber security, project management, databases, social media, software testing or programming.
