The Arthur Terry Learning Partnership is a highly successful Multi Academy Trust (MAT) encompassing six secondary schools, 13 primary schools, a Teaching School Hub, and School Centred Initial Teacher Training provider. Our schools are based in North Birmingham, Tamworth, Lichfield, North Warwickshire and Coventry. A further 2 schools will join the ATLP in the near future.

A vacancy for a Teacher of Japanese has arisen within our Multi Academy Trust. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and outstanding practitioner to join the Arthur Terry Learning Partnership, based at West Coventry Academy.

As a Teacher of Japanese, you will be required to work with a small Year 11 group, in their final year of study of Japanese.

West Coventry Academy is vibrant, all-inclusive comprehensive school, located on the outskirts of Warwickshire. Currently going through an exciting development, the new school build, ready for September 2023, will be a net carbon zero, landscaped building, which is modern, up to date and student focussed. There will be a whole host of facilities built with the needs of the 21st century curriculum in mind including extensive sports facilities, a new swimming pool, state of the art Theatre, Music and Performance studios, spectacular Art rooms, an expansive Library, new Sixth Form Wing and updated ICT infrastructure with interactive classrooms. 

A former specialist Language College, WCA Languages department has played a key role in developing language teaching practice nationally.

The successful candidate must be able to inspire and develop students through their teaching and knowledge of the curriculum, hold a creative approach to their lesson delivery as well as being confident in strategies to enable all students to make or exceed their levels of progress. We welcome applications from teachers who are committed to developing their own pedagogy and who are keen to work in a vibrant and inspiring faculty.
