Job overview

Stoke Damerel Community College are looking for a well-qualified, energetic and enthusiastic teacher to work with our successful EBACC Faculty. This post will provide the successful candidate with the opportunity to teach French at KS3, 4 and potential of KS5, and play an important role in supporting and driving forward the development of our language department.

Your role

  • Working with the Head of Subject, Faculty Leader and SMT Link to deliver high quality language lessons. 
  • Working within the EBACC Faculty, contributing in full to raising student achievement and the continued development of the department including writing scheme of work and developing assessment for learning.
  • Developing teaching and learning that enthuse and engage all learners and raise aspirations within languages. 
  • The ability to teach Spanish as a second subject would be an advantage.
