Teacher of Mathematics and/or Physics

The International Scandinavian School of Madrid is seeking to appoint an inspiring and dedicated teacher of Mathematics and/or Physics.

This a full-time position on a permanent local contract, starting in late August 2024.

We seek to employ an outstanding Teacher to teach Mathematics and/or Physics A-levels and IGCSE Coordinated Science. This is a great opportunity for a colleague to join the school and help drive standards whilst developing the Secondary department.

The ideal candidate should be:

• highly motivated and passionate scientist and an excellent classroom practitioner;
• enthusiastic, energetic and committed to supporting students of all abilities;
• able to exercise professional leadership to ensure high quality teaching skills;
• able to work within a close-knit, supportive team;
• in possession of good organisation and interpersonal skills;

All applicants must:

• have a teaching qualification;
• A-level experience as well as recent experience from a UK school or an overseas school following the International Cambridge Secondary programme or British National Curriculum is desirable;
