A vacancy exists for a well-qualified graduate of Mathematics for January or April 2020 to join a supportive and successful department. 

Mathematics is a popular choice at A Level and the successful candidate will be required to teach to this level. S/he will have a real love of mathematics and be able to inspire her/his pupils by sharing this passion with them. 

St Mary’s School Ascot has its own generous salary scale.  We provide a full induction programme for NQTs.

St Mary's School Ascot is a leading Roman Catholic girls' boarding school set in 55 acres of beautiful grounds in the heart of Berkshire. We are a friendly, stable and caring community, proud of our academic and sporting achievements and dedicated to bringing out the full potential of each of our 390 pupils. There are 120 pupils in the sixth form. We are committed to full boarding, with spaces for a few day pupils living nearby. We offer a stimulating range of co-curricular activities which take place in the evenings and throughout the weekend.

St Mary’s has a strong reputation as an academic school within the Catholic tradition. Entry to the school is selective. All pupils are expected to take 9 or 10 GCSEs, and almost all stay on for the Sixth Form to pursue their A Levels. Our leavers invariably go on to higher education, the vast majority to Russell Group universities or similar, including 10-15% to Oxbridge.
