The Mathematics Department has a clear vision – ‘to inspire the mathematician in all children and promote a love of inquisitive thinking and problem solving’. The Department works collaboratively to ensure exceptional standards of teaching, with the students always at the heart of everything we do. Mathematical confidence is built in our learners through a caring, supportive approach, teaching for depth of understanding and numerical fluency in order to create resilient and flexible young mathematicians.
