Required for 1 September 2021, we are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and effective Teacher of Mathematics, preferably able to teach to Advanced level in a strong department.
This is a permanent and full time position, although applications will be considered for part time.
In 2019 over 90% of our students achieved Mathematics GCSE grades 4 and above with 44% achieving grade 7 and above. A Level Mathematics is a popular option at Ranelagh. In 2019 87% achieved grades A*-C with 43% achieving A* or A. CAG results in 2020 were very similar.
Ranelagh is an 11-18 coeducational, Church of England School which is oversubscribed and has an excellent reputation for academic achievement and positive school ethos. The school has four ‘outstanding’ OFSTED reports, with Grade 1 across all areas, but we are not complacent and as such the provision for professional learning and development is something of which we are all very committed.

Ranelagh Church of England School is a mixed Church of England academy secondary school and sixth form for pupils aged 1-18. It is located in Bracknell, Berkshire, and has about 990 pupils.
The school was founded by lord Ranelagh, and can trace its roots back to 1709. The school became a Church of England academy, supported by the diocese of Oxford, in 2011. It is also a “Beacon School”.
