They are currently looking for an enthusiastic Teacher of Mathematics to join their team from September 2022 or January 2023.
The Mathematics Department is a large and very successful department of committed professionals who are passionate about the subject. They come from a range of backgrounds and experiences and work together as a friendly and mutually supportive team.
The department currently offers a wide range of courses to suit all individual needs, including; AS/A Level Mathematics, AS/A Level Further Mathematics, GCSE Mathematics and Further Mathematics, Foundation, pre-sessional, STEP and AEA classes.
Your duties and responsibilities will include the following:
- Delivering high quality lessons.
- Facilitating the college’s goal of high student academic achievement.
- Informing parents about student progress.
- Engaging in the college’s pastoral care for all students in the college.
- Engaging in appraisals and reviews, and taking part in training and development.
Qualifications and Experience
Teaching international students at GCSE and A-level should be a passion for you and to be considered for this position you must hold a degree-level qualification, enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service clearance and proof of right to work in the UK. Knowledge of the appropriate curricula would also be beneficial.
