Values and vision

Beaufort Co-operative Academy follows the OUR Co-operative Academies Trust values of being open to all, unlocking potential and raising aspirations. The school has expectations of excellence, but encourages and supports students so they are always able to fulfil their maximum potential. All pupils are valued as being individuals, to help them meet their academic achievements while developing a sense of self-discipline, politeness and responsibility.

Ofsted report

“The ambition and expectations of the principal and his senior team have resulted in significant positive change in pupils’ behaviour and improving rates of progress, particularly in the lower school. Pupils are safe and well cared for because staff are very committed to their welfare. Staff know pupils well and help them to understand the risks they face out of school and online. The difference between the achievement of disadvantaged pupils and others nationally is narrowing for current pupils.”
