St Joseph's College is a vibrant independent day and boarding school in Ipswich providing a broad and seamless education for over 550 girls and boys aged 3 - 18. We provide a wide range of stimulating and challenging opportunities that our pupils embrace in both the academic and extra-curricular life of the College.
The resultant all-round education develops our pupils into well-rounded individuals who challenge themselves to ‘be their best’ in every aspect of life at the school, and beyond. Our innovative teaching and subsequent success starts in the Prep School and runs all the way through the Senior School and Sixth Form.
Mathematics and Further Mathematics are very popular subjects in the Sixth Form, attracting a significant proportion of the Sixth Form students. Annually, many of them access top universities to study for a Mathematics or Mathematics related degree. Both GCSE and A-Level results are consistently above the national average.
We are seeking a dynamic and inspiring teacher to continue our strong provision within the subject, someone who is preferable capable of teaching Mathematics at all levels. Ability and willingness to assist with the wider work of the Faculty and to help with extra-curricular activities are essential.
Additional benefits of Boarding accommodation and a TLR allowance may be available for the right candidate.
