Job overview

This is an exciting opportunity for a well-qualified, dynamic and committed graduate in Mathematics, or a related discipline, to teach Mathematics to GCSE and A-level in this closely-knit independent school with a strong pastoral ethos. Experience of teaching to examination level will be an advantage; however applications from NQTs are warmly invited. A willingness to contribute to the school’s wide extra-curricular programme would be welcomed.

St Edmund's School is an independent, co-educational day and boarding school with c. 570 pupils from the ages of 3 to 18.  The Pre-Prep, Junior, and Senior Schools are on the same green field site and are closely integrated using the same Chapel, music and art facilities, dining hall, science laboratories and sports hall.   The broad age range enhances the mutually supportive, family atmosphere that defines the school, where every pupil and staff member is known and valued.
