Westminster City School is a successful 11-18 Christian non-denominational comprehensive academy for boys with a mixed sixth form. Ours is a lively and vibrant learning community situated in the heart of central London with all the opportunities and advantages of an inner city school.

You like us, will share our belief in the highest standards of academic attainment in a comprehensive setting. We are looking for an experienced and confident mathematics teacher. Experience or knowledge of teaching Mathematics at A Level is an advantage. The appointee will be required to teach a variety of key stages and abilities.  

The mathematics department is the largest recruiter of sixth form students and many pupils enjoy the study of this subject all the way from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5.

You will have a track record of delivering consistently good and often outstanding lessons. You will be joining a highly successful department which achieved a Progress 8 figure of 0.55 in 2017, against a national figure of -0.02 at GCSE.  At Key Stage 5, with a large cohort of up to 90 students, 49% achieved A*- A and gained an ALPS score of 2 in A2 Mathematics.

We believe in developing our staff and have a dynamic and supportive management team and an effective CPD programme which includes a regular teaching and learning forum. We welcome applications from experienced teachers or NQTs.
