Tes are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspirational Teacher of Mathematics on a part-time fixed-term basis from January 2022 to cover a maternity. Both experienced and newly qualified teachers are encouraged to apply.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a co-educational secondary school, located in the town of Grimsby, Lincolnshire. The school has an economically diverse catchment area, a fact reflected in its student intake. It was established in the 1960s, adopting its current name in 2007 upon its conversion to an academy. The school is now part of a multi-academy trust responsible for a large number of schools across the Midlands and the north of England.
The trust has grown to a network of 34 academies, incorporating primary, secondary and grammar, and special schools. They employ over 2000 people with the primary focus of raising the standards of education for 13,000 young people. Successful Candidate:
- QTS or equivalent
- Strong subject knowledge
- Ability to teach Maths curriculum across the key stages
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- You will be passionate about teaching with the ability to deliver lessons to a high standard
- Have a creative approach to ensure an inclusive learning experience
- Able to demonstrate a commitment to education and the development of our students
- Ability to create a dynamic and inspiring learning environment
