                                                                   TEACHER OF MATHEMATICS - full time

                   MPS or UPS with the possibility of TLR for the right candidate (2nd in Maths)

We are seeking to appoint an excellent teacher to join our mathematics department. The role will involve teaching key stage 3 and 4 groups and potentially GCSE Statistics and Further Maths.   For suitably experienced candidates there will be the possibility of a TLR of £2,720 (2.1) for added responsibility within the mathematics department.

Melbourn Village College is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational, 11-16 academy, situated near Royston in Cambridgeshire. The school, which converted to become an academy school in October 2011, has 474 students on the school roll. Since 1 September 2013, Melbourn Village College has been a member of The Cam Academy Trust.

Melbourn Village College believes its size allows it to provide students with the individual attention, support and challenges they need to set them firmly on the path towards reaching their potential, and as part of The Cam Academy Trust it feels it is able to provide unique opportunities rarely afforded to a village college.
