Required for September 2020

We are looking to appoint an inspirational and enthusiastic teacher to join our mathematics department from September 2020.  The successful candidate will be a dedicated teacher who can engage and motivate students; they will be a reflective practitioner with a desire to develop their own skills. You will join a supportive and collaborative team of teachers who are passionate about engaging and inspiring young people in their learning and are committed to raising the achievement of every student. 

Macmillan Academy is situated in Middlesbrough on Teesside and was rated good by Ofsted in the most recent inspection. We are a designated teaching school with over 1550 students on roll, including around 270 in the Post 16 phase.  Our strong reputation for Academic success is matched by our desire to provide a holistic education for every student.  

The post would be suitable for an experienced teacher or NQT with the capacity to teach across the ability range, including A level. The successful candidate will benefit from a wide range of CPD opportunities, including our expert teacher programme.
